"Morten Hansen showed a seemingly effortless ball piece that
finished with a long clean run of seven. It was refreshing to
watch a juggler perform gracefully."
-Juggle Magazine
Four time gold medalist at the International Juggler's Festival, Morten Hansen presents a
show that is a mix of juggling, modern dance, comedy, and drama all set to a unique soundtrack.
This incredibly dynamic and visual show will hold young children mesmerized, and the underlying
complexity will appeal to even the most sophisticated audience members.
His show comprised of several short pieces that each offer a unique
perspective on juggling, performance art, and the limits of human ability. Glowing
balls describe wondrous patterns in the dark. Spinning batons come to life in
Hansen’s hands to describe images in the air ranging from birds to propeller to
slithering snakes. Chinese tops are spun on a string in such a variety of patterns
that the audience gets to discover what the creative process is like.
Morten's show is about juggling but the depth of the exploration
transcends the subject matter. Questions arise like ‘What does impossible mean?’
‘How can my eyes see something that language cannot describe?’ Many jugglers
fight gravity. Morten Hansen invites you to celebrate gravity with him.

Schools:
Morten's school program is a 45 minute show that contains both comedic and
choreographed juggling. In between these pieces he talks to kids about
self-esteem, independent learning, and the way that negative peer
influences can impact the learning process. He can also tailor a show to fit your needs and subject matter.
All of this is grounded in his own experiences growing up, attending school and learning to
juggle.
"The most creative and artistic juggling show we have
ever seen. The performance was great!!!
-Levant Elementary School; Levant, ME
"Morten did an outstanding job of holding his audience of
